The terms for using MyShopfront's free preview and paid plans, Essential, Managed, and Lifetime.
These terms are between you and [YOUR NAME], a sole trader trading as MyShopfront. By requesting a preview or going live, you agree to these terms.
MyShopfront builds you a real, working website using information that's already public about your business, your photos, hours, menu or services, and reviews. Your free preview is a single homepage so you can see the direction before committing. Once you go live, we build out the full website.
We offer three plans. Essential costs £39 a month. Managed costs £69 a month. Lifetime costs £599 as a single one-time payment. None of the plans have a setup fee. Payment for Essential and Managed is taken monthly through Stripe using the payment method you provide; Lifetime is taken as a single payment at checkout. A domain isn't included in any plan's price: you can connect one you already own at no extra cost, or we can register one for you for £29 upfront. Domain renewal costs £19 a year after that, and you'll need to set up your own payment method for the renewal. If no payment method is set up by the renewal date, the domain will lapse and be released.
Essential includes up to 2 small updates a month: a text change, swapping a photo, or updating opening hours or a price. Adding a new page costs £29 per page; restructuring the layout or a full redesign is quoted individually. Managed includes unlimited reasonable content updates, ordinary changes like new photos, price or menu changes, seasonal promotions, and testimonials, with most updates live within 24 to 48 hours; it doesn't cover a full redesign, but new pages are £29 each. Lifetime includes reasonable updates for the first 30 days after your site goes live; after that, new pages are £29 each and a full redesign is quoted individually. The £29 per-page rate applies across all three plans.
Essential and Managed are rolling monthly subscriptions. Cancel whenever you like, with no notice period and no cancellation fee. When you cancel, your site stays live until the end of your current billing period and then comes down. We'll send you a copy of your content beforehand. Lifetime is a one-time payment, not a subscription, so there's nothing to cancel: your site stays live and yours to keep, and source files are available on request.
You can move between Essential and Managed at any time by getting in touch, the new rate applies from your next billing date. Moving from Lifetime to a monthly plan, or from a monthly plan to Lifetime, is handled case by case since Lifetime is a one-time build rather than a subscription.
You confirm that the information and content you give us (including photos, logos, and text) is accurate and that you have the right to use it. We can refuse to publish, or take down, any content that's inaccurate, unlawful, or that we reasonably believe infringes someone else's rights.
We build and maintain your website as described in these terms, but we don't guarantee specific business outcomes, such as increased sales, bookings, or customer numbers. To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that can't be limited or excluded under UK law.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we'll let existing customers know by email.
